Easter Basket for 18 months

March 26, 2018

It’s only one week until Easter and I’m so excited to share this holiday with Theo.  He’s still too young to really grasp what the holiday is about, but he’s definitely at an age where he can join in on the fun.  We’re doing a big family brunch in the afternoon, and in the morning we are going to do a little Easter egg hunt.  I think he will have a ton of fun running around looking for eggs.  I’ve had so much fun putting together an Easter basket for him so I thought I’d share with everyone what I’m including in his basket.

Summer gear:

I love the idea of fun pool gear since Easter means pool season is essentially here in Arizona. I’m adding a new swimsuit, bucket hat and a pair of sandals in Theo’s basket.  Here are some of my favorites!

I love these Native Shoes for toddlers.  They are super easy to slip on, they can get wet, and they’re really easy to clean.

I got Theo these adorable trunks from Zara and this plain long sleeve rash guard from Target to go with them.  These are my go-to shops to find cute clothes for Theo.

Toys:

Theo loves digging in the sand so I bought him a fun bucket and shovel to take with us to the park. It’ll keep him entertained forever and I like this Sand toys set because it comes with a few different pieces, so he can share with other kids.

A guaranteed hit in our house is bubbles.  Theo loves playing with bubbles and he will be happy forever if he’s got them to play with.

These Water Wow are perfect for taking with you to a restaurant. They keep littles interested for a while and there’s no mess, which is even better.  Another bonus is Theo can’t eat the pencil, unlike crayons, which he still loves trying to sneak in his mouth while we’re out at restaurants (when does this phase end???).

I showed Theo playing with this Apple and Worm Wooden Toy on my Instagram and he loved it!  It’s such a good purchase because it’s a toy that focuses on fine motor skills and it keeps him focused for a while.  This is another toy that I got with the intent of saving for when we go out to eat.

Books:

I’m a book fanatic, and need no excuses to buy books. I always love buying holiday stories to read with Theo though, so I’ve linked a few cute Easter options below.
